Seachoice Battery Selector Switch

SEACHOICE Battery Selector Switch | Marine & RV Power Management

Take complete and reliable control over your vessel´s or vehicle´s electrical power with the SEACHOICE Battery Selector Switch. Expertly engineered for marine and RV applications with dual or multiple battery setups, this essential component from the Electronics category provides the ultimate in power management, safety, and peace of mind. Whether you´re on the water or off the grid, this switch ensures you can efficiently manage your power sources for starting, charging, and running accessories without the risk of draining your primary starting battery. It is a cornerstone of any robust electrical connections system, offering flexibility and reliability when you need it most.

Key Benefits:

* Versatile Power Management: Effortlessly switch between battery banks. Isolate one battery for starting and the other for house loads (electronics, lights, pumps), preventing accidental discharge of your engine battery. This intelligent separation ensures you always have the power to get started.
* Enhanced Redundancy and Safety: In an emergency situation where your primary starting battery is low, the switch allows you to combine the power of both batteries in parallel (position 1+2). This provides the extra cranking amps needed to start a stubborn engine, acting as a critical safety feature that can prevent you from being stranded.
* System Protection: Isolate all batteries from the electrical system with the "OFF" position. This is ideal for performing maintenance, preventing slow battery drain during storage, and serving as a quick emergency shutdown for the entire DC system.
* Optimized Charging: The selector switch enables you to direct your engine´s alternator or onboard charger to a specific battery bank. This ensures you can efficiently recharge your house battery after a long day of use or top off your starting battery, maximizing battery life and performance.
* Robust and Reliable: Built to withstand the demanding conditions of marine and automotive environments, this switch is designed for longevity. Its high amperage rating ensures it can handle the significant electrical loads associated with engine starting and running multiple high-draw accessories.

Main Features:

* Intuitive four-position rotary dial for simple, unambiguous operation.
* Designed for use in dual or multiple battery bank configurations.
* Make-before-break contact design allows switching between battery banks without interrupting power (when switching between 1, 2, and 1+2).
* Durable, non-corrosive housing to protect internal components from moisture, salt, and vibration.
* Heavy-duty copper or brass terminals for maximum conductivity and minimal voltage drop.
