Seachoice silicone Self Fusing Tape

SEACHOICE Silicone Self Fusing Tape for Marine Maintenance & Repair

Protect your investment and ensure your safety on the water with the SEACHOICE Silicone Self Fusing Tape. An indispensable tool for every boater´s maintenance and cleaning kit, this versatile tape provides a fast, permanent, and reliable solution for countless onboard repairs and preventative tasks. From emergency hose leaks to protecting sensitive electrical connections from the harsh marine environment, this tape is engineered to perform when you need it most. It´s the ultimate problem-solver for everything from a small sailboat to a large yacht, delivering professional results with minimal effort.

Say goodbye to sticky, messy adhesives and unreliable repairs. The magic of SEACHOICE tape lies in its advanced self-fusing nature. When stretched and wrapped around itself, it creates a seamless, permanent bond that is both airtight and completely waterproof. Ideal for almost any application requiring a water-proof seal, it withstands the toughest conditions the open water can throw at it. Its exceptional resistance to salt water ensures long-lasting protection against corrosion and degradation, a critical factor for any marine application and a vital part of your boat´s upkeep.

This tape is a revolutionary alternative to traditional heat shrink tubing. Forget about needing a heat gun in tight, awkward spaces below deck. Simply stretch and wrap for a superior seal. It’s also an incredible electrical insulator, boasting a high dielectric strength of 400 volts per mil, making it the perfect choice for wrapping and protecting wire splices, terminals, and connections from moisture and short-circuits. Worried about high-heat areas? This silicone tape is ideal for high temperature applications, making it suitable for use near engines and exhaust components where other tapes would fail.

Application is incredibly simple. The innovative centre ridge line acts as a guide, helping you achieve a perfect 50% overlap for a uniform and consistent seal every time. The tape begins curing immediately upon application and fully cures within 24 hours, forming a permanent, moisture-tight barrier. And if you need to make a change or a temporary repair, a key benefit is that it leaves absolutely no adhesive residue upon removal; just cut it away cleanly. Use it to repair leaking coolant lines, seal plumbing fittings, wrap tool handles for a secure grip, or even for emergency rigging repairs. Its versatility is limited only by your imagination.
