Simrad AP48 Controller

SIMRAD AP48 Autopilot Controller | Precision Marine Navigation

Take complete command of your vessel with the SIMRAD AP48, a premium dedicated autopilot controller that blends sophisticated functionality with a stunning, modern aesthetic. As a core component for your marine electronics suite, the AP48 is designed to provide responsive, intuitive control, ensuring you can navigate with confidence and precision in any sea condition. It is the perfect control head for sailors and powerboaters who demand reliability, ease of use, and seamless integration.

The AP48 Autopilot Controller is a premium dedicated control head for Continuum autopilot systems, enhanced with modern glass helm styling.

Engineered for responsiveness and ease of use in all conditions, the AP48 pairs a large aluminium rotary control dial with dedicated ‘dodge keys’ to adjust heading port or starboard in one- or ten-degree increments.

This intuitive combination allows for instant, precise course adjustments, a crucial safety feature when avoiding obstacles or navigating in tight quarters. The large, full-colour 4.1-inch display is optically bonded to prevent fogging and deliver crystal-clear visibility, whether in the brightest midday sun or on a dark night passage. Its wide viewing angle ensures key navigational data is always easy to read. With its low-profile "glass helm" design, the AP48 perfectly complements Simrad´s modern displays and instruments, creating a cohesive and professional-looking helm station.
