Strike King Ocho soft lure 100 mm

Strike King KVD Perfect Plastics Ocho 100 mm

Category: Lures
Subcategory: Soft Lures

This 8-sided beast takes the concept of the soft jerkbait to another level. Like a faceted bead vs. a round bead, the Strike King® KVD Perfect Plastics Ocho´s smooth beveled sides reflect light in different directions, creating a flash effect unlike that of any other softbait. Bass respond readily! Precision molded of supersoft plastic, with a slow sink rate, the versatile Ocho is ideal for jerkbaiting and wacky rigging. All KVD Perfect Plastics lures feature soft, salt impregnated plastic and an exclusive coffee scent that masks human scents and oils to produce more and longer bites.

Unlock a new dimension of fish-attracting power with the Strike King KVD Perfect Plastics Ocho. Designed with input from the pros, this lure is engineered to give you a distinct advantage on the water. The genius of the Ocho lies in its unique octagonal body, a revolutionary departure from traditional round stick baits. These eight flat, smooth-beveled sides act like mirrors under the water, capturing and reflecting ambient light in a multi-directional flash. This constant, subtle shimmer mimics the panicked glint of a fleeing baitfish, triggering an aggressive, instinctual predatory response from even the most cautious bass.

The meticulously engineered slow sink rate is a game-changer for finesse presentations. When paused, the Ocho delivers a tantalizing, horizontal fall that keeps it in the strike zone longer, tempting fish that are suspended or unwilling to chase fast-moving baits. Its incredible versatility makes it a must-have in any angler´s tackle box. Rig it weightless for a seductive, darting action as a soft jerkbait. Set it up on a wacky rig and watch it quiver and shimmy irresistibly on the fall. It also excels on a Texas rig, Carolina rig, or even a Neko rig, making it the ultimate multi-purpose soft plastic for a wide range of conditions and fishing styles.

Getting a bite is only half the battle. The KVD Perfect Plastics formulation ensures that when a fish strikes, it holds on. The supersoft texture feels natural in a fish´s mouth, and the impregnation of fine salt encourages them to hang on longer, giving you more time for a solid, confident hookset. This is further enhanced by Strike King´s exclusive coffee scent, a powerful attractant that effectively masks human scents and oils, eliminating a common reason for fish to reject a lure.
