Engineered for ultimate reliability and convenience, this essential piece of marine hardware puts an end to the common frustrations of lost or leaking stoppers. Say goodbye to frantically searching for a misplaced plug just before launch and enjoy unparalleled peace of mind on the water. Its intelligent design ensures you have a secure, watertight seal every time, making it the superior choice for both new installations and critical upgrades on any vessel.

Unmatched Performance and Convenience

Experience a new standard in marine plumbing with a drain plug designed to perform flawlessly in the most demanding conditions. The core benefit of this system is its self-retaining feature; the plug remains securely attached to its housing even when unscrewed, meaning it will never get lost overboard or misplaced in a storage compartment. This simple yet crucial feature saves time, money, and stress. Furthermore, it provides a cost-effective and modern advantage over outdated, leak-prone flared-type drain tubes, offering a dependable solution that enhances your boat´s integrity and functionality.

Superior Design and Functionality

This screw-type Self Retaining Boat Transom Drain Plug is constructed of black polypropylene and features a chemically inert ´O´ ring for a positive, leak-proof sealing. The robust, strong threads are engineered to maintain a tight seal even under the high vibration conditions commonly experienced on the water, ensuring your bilge, livewell, or cooler stays dry or full as intended. A special design feature ingeniously prevents cross-threading during installation and use, guaranteeing a perfect fit and extending the life of the plug and housing.

Installation is quick and simple. This drain plug mounts securely in a 1´ diameter hole with two (2) number 8 countersunk stainless steel screws. For an absolutely waterproof mount, the back side of the mounting flange incorporates a precision groove designed to hold sealant, creating an impenetrable barrier against water intrusion. The mounting flange is approximately 1 1/2´ x 2´, providing a stable and durable base.

This versatile drain plug is the ideal solution for boat transoms, fish wells, bait tanks, water tanks, coolers, ice chests, or almost any application where a positive sealing drain plug is required. Its robust construction and thoughtful engineering make it one of the most reliable stoppers available for the marine market.
