TERSMA Medium Angle Cleat: Precision Control for Demanding Sailors

Elevate your sailing performance with the TERSMA Medium Angle Cleat, a pinnacle of design and engineering in marine hardware. Expertly crafted for sailors who demand instant response and unwavering reliability, this cleat is an essential upgrade for any sailboat, from competitive racers to weekend cruisers. Part of our premier collection of boat accessories and parts, it delivers exceptional line-holding power and effortless release, allowing you to fine-tune your sail trim with unmatched precision and speed.

The core of the TERSMA Medium Angle Cleat’s superior performance lies in its advanced internal mechanism. It features a state-of-the-art, self-lubricant ball bearing system that works in perfect harmony with meticulously designed non-abrasive jaws. This combination dramatically reduces friction, protecting your lines from chafe and wear while allowing you to engage and release even the highest loads instantly and with minimal effort. Whether you are executing a rapid tack, adjusting a sheet under pressure, or trimming a control line, this cleat provides the smooth, dependable action you need to stay in control and ahead of the competition.

Constructed from a lightweight yet incredibly strong, wear-resistant, fiber-reinforced European plastic, the TERSMA cleat is built to withstand the harshest marine environments. Its robust build ensures long-lasting durability against saltwater, UV degradation, and extreme loads. Available in two distinct sizes, you can select the perfect cleat to match your specific line diameters and load requirements, ensuring optimal performance across a wide range of applications. The angled base design provides a fair lead for the line, making it easier to cleat and uncleat from various positions in the cockpit or on deck. These components are not just general mooring cleats; they are high-performance tools for managing running rigging like mainsheets, jib sheets, vangs, outhauls, and cunningham lines with absolute confidence.
