TIEMCO TMC100 Dry Barbed Single Eyed Hook

Discover the benchmark for performance and versatility with the TIEMCO TMC100 Dry Barbed Single Eyed Hook, the undisputed gold standard in the world of fly tying. As Tiemco´s standard dry fly hook, its reputation is built on decades of trust and flawless performance on the water. Its slightly wider gape and increased wire strength in smaller sizes makes it the most popular all-purpose hook for dry fly work, a must-have for every fly tyer´s bench, from the novice to the seasoned professional.

Unmatched Versatility and Reliability

The true genius of the TMC100 lies in its exceptional versatility. Engineered as the ultimate all-purpose dry fly hook, it provides the perfect foundation for an extensive range of classic and contemporary patterns. Whether you are tying a delicate mayfly imitation, a buoyant caddis, or a classic Adams, the TMC100 offers the ideal profile and balance. This versatility means you can confidently stock one model to cover the majority of your top-water tying needs, simplifying your inventory and ensuring you always have the right hook on hand. The increased wire strength, particularly noticeable in the smaller sizes, gives anglers the confidence to fight larger-than-expected fish on light tippets without fear of the hook straightening or failing.

Superior Design for Optimal Performance

Every aspect of the TMC100 is meticulously designed for maximum effectiveness. The slightly wider gape is a critical feature, providing a larger bite area that significantly improves hook-up ratios and ensures a more secure hold once the fish is on. This is paired with TIEMCO’s legendary, chemically sharpened Super Point, which guarantees effortless penetration with minimal pressure, converting even the most subtle takes into solid connections. The classic sproat bend and standard shank length create a timeless silhouette that is perfect for traditional dry fly proportions, helping your creations float correctly and present naturally on the water´s surface.

As one of the most iconic fly hooks ever designed, the TMC100 is the foundation upon which countless successful fishing trips have been built. Its consistent quality and precision engineering mean that every hook in the pack is as perfect as the last, allowing for uniform, professional-looking flies every time.
