Tiemco TMC108BL Dry single eyed hook

TIEMCO TMC108BL Dry Single Eyed Hook: Master the Surface Film

Elevate your dry fly and emerger game with the revolutionary TIEMCO TMC108BL, a meticulously engineered hook designed for the most demanding surface-feeding scenarios. When fish are selectively keying in on emergers, cripples, and floating nymphs, presentation is everything. The TMC108BL provides fly tyers and anglers with a distinct advantage, allowing for patterns that ride perfectly in the surface film, fooling even the most discerning trout. Its innovative design and superior construction make it an essential component for any serious fly tyer´s bench.

The true genius of the TMC108BL lies in its groundbreaking shape. This hook has a very unique bent shank called Dolphin Shank. It can imitate a floating nymph as it truly is hanging in a shallow angle in the surface. This unique profile allows the body of your fly to hang tantalizingly just below the meniscus, perfectly mimicking the vulnerable stage of an emerging insect. This is also good to tie extended-body patterns. The shank provides a secure and stable platform, ensuring your extended bodies are durable and presented flawlessly cast after cast. Try them with Shimazaki Hollow Body Tool, Burner and Material Kit. You can tie realistic extended body flies with them. This is a new concept dry fly hook for surface film patterns, transforming how you approach these critical fishing situations.

Key Benefits & Features:

* Revolutionary Dolphin Shank: The signature feature of the TMC108BL, this special bend forces the fly to hang realistically in the surface film, a profile that proves irresistible to selective fish feeding on emergers and floating nymphs.
* Surface Film Specialist: Purpose-built for tying patterns that imitate emerging caddis, mayflies, and midges. Your flies will sit "in" the water, not just "on" it, for a more natural and effective presentation.
* Extended-Body Excellence: The shank´s shape offers an ideal foundation for creating durable and lifelike extended-body flies, from drakes to damsels, without the risk of twisting or fouling.
* Barbless for Conservation: The "BL" designation signifies a barbless design, ensuring quick and easy hook penetration while minimizing harm to the fish. This makes it a perfect choice for catch-and-release fisheries and competitive angling.
* Superior Hooking Power: Combining a wide gape with an ultra-sharp, chemically-sharpened point, the TMC108BL provides exceptional hooking and holding power, even when using light tippets on subtle takes.
* Stealth and Durability: Finished in a sleek Black Nickel, this hook offers excellent corrosion resistance and a low-reflectivity profile that won´t spook wary fish in clear water conditions.

The TIEMCO TMC108BL isn´t just another hook; it´s a specialized tool that unlocks new possibilities in fly design and presentation. Whether you are tying delicate CDC emergers, buoyant floating nymphs, or realistic extended-body drakes, this hook will provide the perfect foundation for flies that look and behave like the real thing.
