UFLEX UC132-OBS Side Mount Cylinder for Sterndrive Applications

Upgrade your vessel´s handling and experience the superior control of hydraulic steering with the UFLEX UC132-OBS Side Mount Cylinder. Designed as a premier solution for boaters looking to transition from cumbersome mechanical steering systems, this cylinder provides a significant enhancement in performance, safety, and comfort on the water. It is the ideal choice for a wide range of sterndrive-powered boats, offering a smoother, more responsive, and virtually effortless steering experience, even in challenging conditions.

The UC132-OBS is engineered to make the upgrade process as straightforward as possible. Its universal design is compatible with most sterndrive applications, including popular models from Mercruiser, Volvo Penta, and OMC. A key benefit of this cylinder is its innovative mounting system. It attaches directly to the boat´s transom shield in the same position where the original mechanical steering cable would otherwise attach, simplifying installation and often eliminating the need for complex modifications or additional hardware.

Key Benefits:

* Effortless Steering: Dramatically reduces the physical effort required to steer your boat. Enjoy longer, more comfortable days on the water without the fatigue associated with fighting a stiff mechanical cable system.
* Enhanced Precision and Control: The balanced hydraulic design ensures symmetrical steering with an equal number of turns from lock-to-lock, providing predictable and precise maneuverability when docking, navigating tight channels, or operating at speed.
* Unmatched Durability: Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, the UC132-OBS features robust, corrosion-resistant construction. The combination of heavy-duty anodized aluminum and high-grade stainless steel components ensures exceptional longevity and reliable performance season after season.
* Simplified Upgrade Path: Specifically engineered as a direct replacement for mechanical systems, its attachment to the transom shield makes for a more streamlined and accessible installation for professional installers and experienced DIY boaters alike.
