ULTRAFLEX UP33F Helm Pump – Precision Hydraulic Steering Control

Experience unparalleled control and robust reliability on the water with the ULTRAFLEX UP33F Helm Pump, a premium hydraulic steering solution designed for demanding marine environments. Engineered for boaters who refuse to compromise on performance and safety, this front-mount helm pump is the heart of a responsive and dependable steering system. Whether you´re navigating tight marinas, cruising in open water, or holding a steady course while fishing, the UP33F provides the confidence you need to command your vessel with effortless precision. Its compact and intelligent design ensures it is a perfect upgrade or a first-fit choice for a wide range of outboard and sterndrive powered boats.

The UP33F is built for long-term performance and durability. Its construction is a testament to Ultraflex´s commitment to quality, featuring materials selected specifically to withstand the harsh realities of saltwater, sun, and constant vibration. The core of the pump’s smooth operation lies in its compact, axial piston design, which delivers efficient hydraulic power for a responsive feel at the wheel. This advanced engineering translates to less effort for the captain and a more enjoyable, less fatiguing boating experience.

Safety is paramount on the water, and the ULTRAFLEX UP33F incorporates critical features to protect you and your equipment. The built-in lock valve is a key benefit, providing a positive rudder lock that prevents steering creep and the "feedback" torque from the engine. This means your boat stays on the course you set without requiring constant minor corrections at the helm. Furthermore, an integrated relief valve offers essential over-pressure protection, safeguarding the entire hydraulic system from pressure spikes that could occur from hitting an underwater obstruction or operating at extreme angles, thereby preventing potential damage to seals and hoses.

Installation and versatility are at the forefront of the UP33F´s design. The front-mount configuration allows for straightforward mounting on the dashboard, while its compact footprint saves valuable space at the helm. For custom installations or unique dashboard layouts, the pump can even be installed in an intermediate position, offering exceptional flexibility. To ensure a seamless and hassle-free setup, the pump comes complete with elbow fittings for its 1/4” NPT connections, saving you time and the effort of sourcing additional parts. The industry-standard 3/4” tapered stainless steel shaft ensures compatibility with most marine steering wheels, making it an easy and effective upgrade.
