UNIMER Smart Snubber Mooring Shock Absorber

Category: Boats and equipment
Subcategory: Anchoring and mooring

Ensure the ultimate protection and peace of mind for your vessel with the UNIMER Smart Snubber, the next-generation mooring shock absorber designed for simplicity, strength, and silence. When your boat is docked or moored, it is constantly subjected to the powerful and often unpredictable forces of wind, waves, and currents. These forces create immense tension and jarring shocks that travel up your mooring lines, putting significant strain on your boat’s cleats, chocks, and even the hull structure itself. The UNIMER Smart Snubber is expertly engineered to be your boat´s first line of defense against this relentless stress.

The primary benefit of the Smart Snubber lies in its exceptional ability to dampen and absorb shock loads. By elongating under tension and then smoothly retracting, it transforms harsh, damaging jolts into gentle, controlled movements. This action not only dramatically reduces the wear and tear on your valuable mooring hardware, extending its lifespan and preventing costly repairs, but it also protects the mooring lines themselves from chafe and fatigue. Furthermore, it enhances onboard comfort by eliminating the constant groaning and creaking of taut ropes, allowing for a quiet and peaceful experience whether you´re sleeping overnight or simply relaxing at the dock.

Smart Snubber mooring shock absorbers are made of elastic polyurethane to resist seawater, UV and effectively absorb mooring-related shocks.

Durable and easy to install, they attach to the mooring line without having to detach the boat.

Ideal for short-term slaves.

The "Smart" in its name refers to its brilliantly simple and highly effective design. Unlike traditional mooring compensators or rubber snubbers that can be cumbersome to fit or require you to splice a line, the UNIMER Smart Snubber features an innovative installation method. It can be quickly and securely fitted onto an existing mooring line in seconds, without any tools and, most importantly, without having to undo the line from the cleat or the dock. This "fit and forget" convenience makes it an indispensable piece of equipment for all boaters, from seasoned sailors to weekend cruisers. Its robust, one-piece construction with no moving parts to break or rust ensures flawless performance and exceptional durability season after season.
