Vercelli Oxygen Matera surfcasting rod

VERCELLI Oxygen Matera Surfcasting Rod

Unleash your full potential on the shoreline with the VERCELLI Oxygen Matera, a precision-engineered surfcasting rod designed for the discerning angler who demands both sensitivity and power. This rod is a masterclass in balance, offering the perfect tool to conquer the surf and detect even the most cautious bites. Whether you´re targeting distant sandbanks or fishing closer in for shy-biting species, the Oxygen Matera is built to elevate your performance and increase your catch rate.

Unmatched Bite Detection with a Competition Hybrid Tip

Experience unparalleled sensitivity and bite detection thanks to the innovative Competition Hybrid Tip. This solid carbon grafted tip is exceptionally responsive, visually registering the most subtle nibbles and underwater movements that would be missed with a standard rod. This feature gives you a critical advantage, allowing you to set the hook at the perfect moment and connect with more fish. The vibrant tip provides a clear visual cue against the water, day or night, ensuring you never miss an opportunity.

Effortless Power and Casting Accuracy

Built on a robust, high-performance blank, the Oxygen Matera is a true powerhouse designed for long-range casting. The rod loads smoothly and releases energy with explosive force, allowing you to send your baits and rigs soaring past the breakers with remarkable accuracy and minimal effort. Its strong backbone not only provides superior casting distance but also gives you the commanding power needed to control and land large, hard-fighting fish from the surf. This is the strength you can depend on when the fight is on.

Engineered for Durability and Angler Comfort

Every component on the VERCELLI Oxygen Matera is selected for longevity and flawless performance. The rod is fitted with premium SIC KW type rings, which are ideal for use with modern braided lines. They drastically reduce friction for longer, smoother casts and effectively prevent wind knots and tangles. The secure, threaded spool seat is cushioned to lock your reel firmly in place without any wobble, giving you total confidence during powerful casts and intense battles. Long sessions are made more comfortable with the ergonomic, asymmetric grip, providing a secure and pleasant hold. As a ´Surfcasting multi-pieces´ rod, it breaks down for easy transport and storage, with metal reinforcement bushings at the joints to ensure lasting strength and a perfect fit season after season.

Your investment is protected with the included Vercelli-branded protective case, making it easy and safe to transport your rod to your favourite fishing spots.
