Vetus 3/4´´ thru-hull

VETUS 3/4" Thru-Hull Fitting: Uncompromising Safety for Your Marine Plumbing

Ensure the absolute integrity of your vessel´s hull with the VETUS 3/4" Thru-Hull Fitting, a critical component engineered for boat owners who refuse to compromise on safety and reliability. Designed for the demanding marine environment, this thru-hull is the superior choice for all below-the-waterline and above-the-waterline plumbing applications, including engine raw water intakes, bilge pump outlets, sink drains, and more. VETUS has built its reputation on quality, and this fitting is a testament to that legacy, offering you unparalleled peace of mind on the water.

The primary benefit of choosing a VETUS thru-hull is the exceptional durability and long-term performance. It is meticulously crafted from a premium, high-grade material chosen specifically for its phenomenal resistance to corrosion, electrolysis, and degradation from saltwater and UV exposure. This robust construction ensures that the fitting maintains its strength and watertight seal season after season, protecting the most vital part of your boat—the hull. The precision-machined threads and included heavy-duty backing nut work in unison to create an unwavering, leak-proof seal against the hull, preventing water intrusion and potential structural damage. This focus on a secure, reliable connection means you can trust your boat´s plumbing systems, whether you are at the dock or navigating challenging offshore conditions.

Main Features:

* Optimized Flow Design: The interior of the thru-hull is perfectly smooth to promote maximum water flow and reduce turbulence. This ensures your pumps and drainage systems operate at peak efficiency without unnecessary restriction.
* Secure Hose Connection: It features a deeply machined, prominent barbed tail designed to create a tenacious grip on a 3/4-inch (19 mm) marine hose. This design, combined with a quality hose clamp, provides a secure, blow-off-resistant connection that is essential for critical systems.
* Robust Flange and Body: The fitting is designed with a substantial, low-profile outer flange that provides a large surface area for bedding compound, creating a superior seal against the hull. The thick-walled body is built to withstand impacts and the stresses of a moving vessel.
* Effortless & Secure Installation: Supplied complete with a matching high-strength backing nut, this thru-hull is designed for straightforward installation. The nut distributes clamping pressure evenly across the inside of the hull, preventing stress cracking and ensuring a solid, long-lasting installation.
