Wichard Cable clamp 5-6 mm

Wichard Duplex Cable Clamp for 5-6 mm Wire Rope | Premium Deck Equipment

Ensure unparalleled safety and reliability for your boat´s rigging with the Wichard Cable Clamp, expertly engineered for 5 mm to 6 mm wire ropes. As a crucial piece of deck equipment, this clamp is designed to provide a robust and secure termination for creating loops and eyes in steel cables. Trusted by sailors and marine professionals worldwide, Wichard represents the pinnacle of performance and durability, and this component is a testament to that legacy. Its primary function is to create a strong, non-slip connection for non-critical applications where steadfast performance is essential.

Designed for the harsh marine environment, this cable clamp offers exceptional holding power without compromising the integrity of the wire rope. The innovative duplex design utilizes two bolts and a grooved plate, which distributes the clamping pressure evenly across the cable. This prevents the dangerous flattening and crushing associated with traditional U-bolt clamps, thereby maintaining the cable´s structural strength and significantly extending its service life. It is the ideal solution for securing guardrails, lifelines, architectural rigging, and various other fixtures on board.

Key Benefits:

* Superior Holding Strength: The duplex plate and twin-bolt system provides a formidable grip, ensuring your cable loops remain secure under load and preventing any slippage.
* Preserves Cable Integrity: The unique grooved design avoids crushing the wire rope, maintaining its nominal breaking load and ensuring long-term reliability.
* Exceptional Durability: Manufactured through a hot-forging process and finished with a special passivation treatment, this clamp offers outstanding resistance to corrosion and fatigue, even in the most demanding saltwater conditions.
* Enhanced Safety: Engineered with high working and breaking loads, it provides a significant safety margin for peace of mind during operation.
* Effortless Installation: The simple, effective design allows for quick and easy installation on your deck or rigging using standard tools, saving you valuable time and effort.

Main Features:

* Duplex design featuring two securing bolts for balanced and powerful clamping.
* Specially grooved saddle to accommodate the wire rope securely.
* Hot-forged construction for a superior grain structure and enhanced mechanical strength.
* Self-locking nuts for added security against loosening due to vibration.
* A fully passivated finish for a clean appearance and maximum protection against environmental degradation.

Choose the Wichard Cable Clamp for an uncompromising approach to your boat´s deck equipment. It is more than just a component; it´s an investment in safety, performance, and the longevity of your vessel´s rigging systems.
