WICHARD Proline Safety Strap 2 m

Stay secure and confident on deck with the WICHARD Proline Safety Strap, the pinnacle of marine safety technology for sailors and boaters. Engineered for uncompromising performance in the most demanding conditions, this 2-meter safety tether is an essential piece of equipment for offshore cruising, racing, or any situation where a secure connection to your vessel is paramount. WICHARD´s new range of innovative lanyards redefines expectations for on-deck safety, combining ergonomic design with robust construction.

The Proline safety strap is designed for intuitive, reliable operation when you need it most. Its core strength lies in its advanced carabiner system and intelligent webbing, ensuring you remain safely tethered without hindering your movement. Experience effortless one-handed attachment and detachment, a critical feature when navigating rough seas or performing tasks that require a free hand. The lightweight yet incredibly strong construction means you´ll barely notice it´s there until it´s called upon, providing peace of mind without the burden of heavy, cumbersome gear. This strap is not just a piece of equipment; it´s your lifeline, built to meet the rigorous standards of international sailing.

Straps

This innovative safety tether is crafted for superior functionality and durability. The elasticated webbing is a key feature, keeping the strap compact and close to the body to minimise the risk of snagging or tripping on deck hardware. This elasticity provides freedom of movement while ensuring the tether remains taut enough to be effective. For enhanced safety in low-light conditions, dawn, or dusk, the strap is woven with retro-reflective thread, significantly increasing your visibility to the crew. A crucial safety innovation is the integrated overload indicator, which gives a clear visual signal if the strap has been subjected to a heavy shock load, allowing you to assess its integrity and replace it if necessary, in full compliance with ISO 12401 and OSR (World Sailing) recommendations.
