Edge Explore is a GPS for road racing. The device includes the Garmin Cycle Map application that through its indications you will know exactly where you should make the turns and the proximity of the sharp curves. It has compatibility with the Varia brand and the smart lights that are installed on the bicycle and alert if a vehicle is approaching.
The cyclocomputer has a 3 ”screen with a resolution of 200 x 240 pixels, is tactile and has high sensitivity. Its operation is up to 12 hours and in its memory, you can store up to 200 hours of activities. It has connectivity via Bluetooth and ANT + and is compatible with iPhone and Android devices.
The Strava Live Segments feature in which you store your personal brands and compare your achievements with other athletes is included in the equipment configuration. Also, you can set your training goals and the length of the intervals. The sports equipment is linked to your smartphone so you can receive smart notifications among cyclists. The autonomy of the battery is up to 15 hours.

It is not the top of the range, but for a normal fan it fulfills all the functions. It allows you to work independently with the route to follow, and with the GPS activity recorded by the garmin. It allows you to create automatic, manual routes, and even with Garmin Connect. You just have to hit "send to device". A luxury. Also very useful is the fact of having predefined points (like going home), etc. Great product value for money now that version 2 has come out.

My opinion concerns only the sending of the product and the first impressions. No difficulty, constant information during delivery. The product is as described. Getting started and discovering the product simple enough for a Boeotian. Map transfers from a site to the GPS are super easy via garmin connect. I think, however, take a more secure attachment system than the elastic links of the original kit as well as a shell in case of impact.

Perfect: I was looking for a simple device with a screen large enough to use my radar and if necessary navigate. Only one regret that it is not compatible with the direct connection of the Garmin external battery. But it is possible to connect a usb cable to the back of the support to use another battery.
