Giro Eclipse Spherical MIPS Helmet: The Pinnacle of Aero Performance and Cooling

Unleash your full potential on the tarmac or gravel with the Giro Eclipse Spherical MIPS helmet, the ultimate fusion of speed, cooling, and advanced protection for the dedicated adult cyclist. This is not just another road helmet; it´s a meticulously engineered piece of equipment designed to give you a decisive advantage when every second and every watt counts. By combining a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette with exceptional ventilation, the Eclipse Spherical MIPS shatters the long-standing compromise between speed and comfort, delivering the coolest and fastest aero road helmet in its class.

Eclipse expectations with the Giro Eclipse Spherical MIPS helmet. This aero road helmet blends leading technologies for road and gravel racing. Its sleek shell cuts drag at various angles, while 14 vents and internal channeling offer superior cooling. Spherical Technology, powered by MIPS, uses a ball-and-socket design to redirect impact forces. Progressive Layering and Nanobead EPS foam enhance protection. The Roc Loc 5 Air system ensures stability and a custom fit, complemented by Ionic+ antimicrobial padding for sweat management. Lightweight and compact, it´s your ultimate performance advantage.

At the heart of this helmet´s revolutionary design is the sophisticated Spherical Technology, powered by Mips®. This exclusive ball-and-socket system allows the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during an impact, effectively redirecting rotational forces away from the brain. This is further enhanced by Progressive Layering, where dual-density EPS foam liners are engineered to handle both high-speed and low-speed impacts with greater efficiency. The result is a new standard in head protection, giving you the confidence to push your limits.

Comfort and fit are paramount on long rides, and the Eclipse excels here with the renowned Roc Loc 5 Air fit system. This system allows you to easily dial in both tension and vertical position for a perfectly customized and secure fit, while also suspending the helmet slightly off the head to allow for maximum airflow. This works in concert with the 14 massive Wind Tunnel vents and deep internal channeling, which draw cool air in and exhaust heat, ensuring you stay comfortable even during the most intense efforts on the hottest days. Whether you´re competing in road cycling events or embarking on a rugged gravel cycling adventure, the Giro Eclipse Spherical MIPS helmet is your key to a faster, cooler, and safer ride.

Absolutely top-notch helmet. It has it all: comfort, performance, and maximum safety. Highly recommended. Even in the summer, I didn't feel any heat, despite wearing a super-light helmet. My head measures 60cm in circumference, so I wear it with a balaclava or a thermal headband, and there's plenty of room.

Very comfortable!

It's not easy for a helmet to fit my head well since it's long, but this one fits like a glove. It's very comfortable, you don't even feel like you're wearing it, and it's very nice.

Great fit and looks amazing!
