Excellent pedals, light with a weight of 170gr per pedal compared to Shimano's weighing 190gr. The only flaw, they are not supplied with some spare parts such as the foot support points. They come with cleats.

Perfect for trail, excursions, frequent use. Having both possibilities is a point, but always if you are clear that you will need both the coves and platform. The face of the platform seems small but it is enough, it grabs perfect in almost all types of footwear, but if you have specific AM or Trail shoes it is your thing. The part of the cove, because like all the SPD, is going very well and as always it needs a little practice to unhook but it is taken immediately (a couple of times to the ground and a few laughs and the third fall takes longer to arrive). Very safe to be able to unhook and use the platform in certain descents. The pedal rotates smoothly but is not loose or "crazy" so for the change from cove to platform you must turn it, I prefer it. You need some practice but for me what I do from XC to Trail or long crossings are great.

I have a spare bike that I use for light trail riding as well as rod training with slicks. The dual purpose pedals give me the flexibility to go casual or clip in for a workout. I have only ridden these pedals twice so far but once with flats and once clipped in. They are smaller platforms than I expected but grippy as flats, the spd mechanism works smoothly. Good buy.
