Kryptonite Keeper 12 LS U-lock

KRYPTONITE Keeper 12 LS U-lock: Reliable Security for Your Daily Ride

Secure your peace of mind and your bicycle with the KRYPTONITE Keeper 12 LS U-lock, a benchmark in dependable, everyday security. Designed for commuters and cyclists in suburban areas or locations with moderate theft risk, this lock combines robust construction with user-friendly features. The "LS" (Long Shackle) designation provides extended reach, giving you greater flexibility to secure your frame and wheel to a wide variety of fixed objects like bike racks, signposts, and poles.

At the heart of the Keeper 12 LS is a formidable 12mm hardened steel shackle, engineered to withstand attacks from common hand tools. This core strength provides a powerful deterrent against opportunistic thieves, ensuring your bike stays where you left it. Protection is further enhanced by a reinforced collar over the keyway, which shields the high-security cylinder from drilling and pulling, adding another critical layer of defense against tampering.

Ease of use is paramount in daily security, and the Keeper 12 LS excels in this area. The lock features Kryptonite´s renowned high security Bent Foot™ design. This innovative, anti-rotation feature makes locking and unlocking your bike a swift and hassle-free experience, while also providing significant resistance against twist and leverage attacks. The lock mechanism itself is a high security disc-style cylinder, known for its resistance to picking and drilling, giving you confidence in its protective capabilities.

To keep your bike´s finish pristine, the entire U-lock is coated in a durable, protective vinyl covering. This soft but resilient layer prevents the hardened steel from scratching or damaging your bike´s paint job during use and transport.

Speaking of transport, the Keeper 12 LS includes a convenient and reliable click-style transportation bracket. This easy-to-install bracket securely mounts to your bicycle frame, allowing you to carry the lock without it rattling or getting in your way while you ride. A simple click is all it takes to attach or detach the lock.

As a Kryptonite customer, you also gain access to the invaluable Key Safe Program. Upon registering your lock, Kryptonite will ship your first two replacement keys for free in the event you lose them. This global service means you´re never truly stuck if your keys go missing.
