The solid option

Previously had a woodman component seat post and was fine for a while but the bracket snapped on me so was advised I wouldn’t be able to source a new bracket so had to get a new seat post so went about researching something that wouldn’t fail on me again like the woodman did….. straight out the box the RaceFace seatpost looks 10x stronger, only time will tell but I’m very happy with the choice I made

Hello!! According to the Raceface page, it´s not designed for oval rails, but according to them it should work fine if you pay attention to the torque.

How heavy is the 31.6mm size?

It is approx 250 grams, though I trimmed mine down a little. Great quality & slightly lighter that the factory alloy. I replaced it on a Trek XC Top Fuel 9, & it has made an improvement to the ride
