Restrap Bumper Bar

RESTRAP Bumper Bar: The Ultimate Front-End Solution for Your Bike

Elevate your bikepacking, touring, or commuting setup with the ingeniously crafted RESTRAP Bumper Bar. A vital accessory for any cyclist utilizing handlebar luggage, this product is designed to enhance your ride by adding protection, space, and versatility to your cockpit. The Bumper Bar is a unique accessory that serves multiple functions, acting as a protective barrier, a secure mounting platform, and a spacer for your handlebar bag system. It is the definitive upgrade for a clean, organized, and damage-free front-end.

Key Benefits:

* Ultimate Headset and Frame Protection: The Bumper Bar’s primary function is to act as a rigid shield between your handlebar bag and your bike´s head tube. This prevents the constant rubbing and friction that can wear away paint, damage frame finishes, and compromise your headset over time. By creating a solid point of contact, it safeguards your investment and keeps your bike looking its best, no matter how rugged the terrain. It also provides a protective housing for your brake and gear cables, preventing them from being pinched or stretched by a loaded bag, which ensures consistent shifting and braking performance.
* Optimized Cockpit and Hand Space: By acting as a spacer, the Bumper Bar pushes your handlebar bag forward and away from your handlebars. This seemingly simple adjustment unlocks a world of comfort and control. It frees up valuable real estate on your bars, allowing full access to all hand positions on both drop bars and flat bars. This is crucial for reducing fatigue on long-distance journeys and maintaining optimal control when navigating technical sections. Enjoy improved ergonomics without compromising your luggage capacity.
* Versatile Accessory Mounting: Say goodbye to cluttered handlebars. The Bumper Bar features a dedicated forward-facing mount, perfect for attaching high-power front lights, GPS computers, or other essential accessories. Placing your light on this mount provides a clear, unobstructed beam path above your bag and front wheel, dramatically improving visibility and safety during night rides or in low-light conditions. These purpose-built Bars and Frames create a tidy, efficient, and highly functional cockpit.
