SaltPlus Midsize BB - Precision Bottom Bracket for BMX

Upgrade your ride with the SaltPlus Midsize Bottom Bracket, the essential component for any serious BMX rider seeking unparalleled smoothness and reliability. Engineered for the demands of modern street, park, and urban cycling, this bottom bracket is the heart of a dialed drivetrain, ensuring every pedal stroke translates into effortless forward motion. Say goodbye to frustrating creaks, resistance, and constant maintenance. The SaltPlus Midsize BB provides a fit-and-forget solution that lets you focus on your lines, not on your bike´s performance. Built with precision and durability at its core, this component is designed to withstand the high-impact nature of BMX, offering a consistently smooth spin session after session.

The standout benefit of this bottom bracket lies in its high-quality sealed bearings. This premium design creates an incredibly low-friction rotation, allowing your cranks to spin freely and efficiently. More importantly, the sealed system provides a robust barrier against dirt, dust, and moisture—the biggest enemies of any bottom bracket. This protection drastically increases the longevity of the bearings and significantly reduces the need for frequent cleaning and servicing, making it a perfect choice for riders who push their limits in all conditions. The integration of CNC-machined alloy cones further enhances the precision fit, ensuring a solid, wobble-free interface between your cranks and frame for maximum power transfer.

Versatility is key in any BMX build, and the SaltPlus Midsize BB delivers. It is meticulously designed for frames that use the Mid bottom bracket standard and is available in options to fit both the industry-standard 19mm and the stronger 22mm crank spindles. This kit’s adaptability is further extended with the inclusion of various spacers. This allows you to perfectly fine-tune your chainline on bottom bracket shells ranging from 68mm to 74mm, ensuring your chain runs straight, quiet, and efficiently, regardless of your specific sprocket and hub combination. This level of adjustability is crucial for achieving that professionally dialed-in feel and preventing unnecessary wear on your drivetrain components.
