Shimano Cleat protector

SHIMANO SPD-SL Cleat Protector | Extend Cleat Life & Walk with Confidence

Preserve your high-performance cycling equipment and enhance your off-bike experience with the genuine SHIMANO Cleat Protector for SPD-SL systems. An essential spare part for any serious road cyclist, this accessory is meticulously designed to safeguard your cleats from the inevitable wear and tear of walking. Stop the awkward, slippery shuffle at coffee stops or rest breaks and start walking with stability and confidence. These protectors are the small investment that pays huge dividends in cleat longevity and personal safety.

Engineered specifically for the SHIMANO SPD-SL ecosystem, these cleat protectors act as a durable shield between your cleats and abrasive surfaces like asphalt, concrete, and gravel. By covering the contact points, they prevent premature wear, preserving the precise engagement and release mechanism you rely on for optimal power transfer and safety on the bike. This means your cleats last significantly longer, saving you money and ensuring your connection to the pedal remains crisp and reliable ride after ride.

Beyond protection, these covers dramatically improve walkability. The textured, non-slip surface provides superior traction compared to bare plastic cleats, allowing you to navigate slippery café floors, stairs, and uneven ground with secure footing. Their lightweight and compact design makes them the perfect ride companion; they are easy to slip on and off in seconds and can be conveniently stored in a jersey pocket or saddle bag when not in use. Don´t let walking compromise your cycling gear.
