I did the installation on the hub of the rear wheel and it works, a little laborious as its application is not simple and immediate due to the spokes that hinder its fixing, however it fits together. To evaluate how long the elastic holding the sensor will last. Alternatively, already tested with other sensors on the hub, you can fix it with a cable tie.

This speed sensor attaches to the front hub (or rear) and transmits via ANT+ to your Sigma GPS bike computer. It comes with a battery included (CR2032), it's low power and has auto shut-off when the wheel isn't turning. It's accurate, and very light weight, and since it attaches to the hub (w/included o-ring) there's little effect from rotational mass - it doesn't unbalance your wheel like the old style magnet/sensor system. At $CAD32 I think it represents a fair value for the money.

You don´t need any magnets, it attaches to the wheel hub. Rox 4 also measures speed via satellite, probably not as accurate as a speed sensor, so you don´t necessarily need a speed sensor at all.

Hi, I have this setup and it works just fine. No complains so far. The magnetic sensor is actually better than the new type of sensors in gravel - off road. The newer sensors are getting affected but the vibrations. The DUO is not and this is why i like it.
