Very nice and handy jacket

This Vaude jacket is exceptionally warm yet lightweight. It packs down remarkably compactly. I personally use it on my speed pedelec in wet and cold weather; I've used it down to -10°C with just a merino wool jersey underneath. The insulation and windproofness of this jacket are excellent. It's also beautifully designed, so I can wear it to work without hesitation. Highly recommended. The only downside is perhaps that the Velcro fasteners next to the zipper could have been placed a little more carefully; when the jacket is fully open, these Velcro closures can chafe uncomfortably against my hands.
