Whether you are an experienced diver or just making your first visit to the depths, the Thor EBS fins are an excellent choice. Ideal for recreational scuba diving, these adjustable fins from Cressi´s Specialized diving line combine strength, power, comfort and aesthetics in one unbeatable, guaranteed for life package.

The big secret behind the Thor EBS lies in the 3-material injection system that Cressi have patented to optimize both performance and function on their fins, based on what they have learned from apnea fins. The first of these materials, polypropylene, constitutes the ribs and the outer area of the blades to provide both energy return and rigidity to the fins, reducing energy loss.

The reinforced foot pocket and the fin’s sole are made of a highly flexible elastomer that provides both comfort and a great fit, reducing energy dispersion even more. On the blade’s central part, a thermoplastic rubber section provides the elasticity needed to improve impulse while flapping.

Cressi has also modified the Thor EBS with an EBS elastic strip system to improve the adaptability of these fins to different sizes and elongations, guaranteeing a better heel fixing. The foot pocket’s design, with a 5% steeper inclination than what you could find in other models, improves flapping efficiency and provides a more natural foot position.

Brand new design for this extremely effective and yet very easy to use fin. The special arched profile of the fins combined with the two central ribs promote a significant flow convection effect, known as spoon effect, which stabilises and boosts propulsion. Two lateral holes discharge the negative forces typically associated with this area and at the same time make for enhanced stability. The blades are moulded from two different materials for improved reactivity. These fins are perfect for scuba diving, whether you are an experienced diver or a novice.

I received the fins today and they still have to prove themselves in diving in March. First impression is good. I took the L and they fit perfectly in shoe size 43 with 5 mm booties when dry. I'd always buy from Diveinn again.
