Description summary

Engineered for multi-day expeditions, the Osprey Aether 65L backpack masterfully handles heavy loads. Built from rugged, water-repellent nylon, it features a removable top-lid that converts into a daypack for summit pushes. With smart organization for all your gear, from a sleeping bag to ice tools, you can carry everything you need for a week in the wild with total support and ease

The Osprey Aether 65L backpack has enough space for a trip for several days when you need complete mountain equipment with hydration, sleeping bag, climbing tools, shoes, clothing, and food, all in an organized, stable, breathable, and comfortable luggage that gives support and easy mobility during the trip.

This trekking backpack is made with high tenacity nylon with a repellent to water treatment, so it is highly resistant to abrasions even in adverse conditions. Besides, it includes a waterproof protective cover that avoids your items from getting wet on the walk. The Fit-on-the-Fly system is fully adjustable and adapts with comfort to all types of bodies. The Air Scape backrest is responsible for providing soft, padded, and breathable support on the back.

Its design is compatible with a hydraulic reserve and incorporates a “U” zipper on the main compartment, zippered pocket on the top, front pocket, lateral mesh pockets, and pockets on the lumbar belt. This 70l backpack of maximum capacity comes with internal access for hydration, an internal ring for keys, sternum strap with emergency whistle, lateral compression straps, straps to adjust the sleeping bag, and hooks for poles.

ANTI-GRAVITY TECHNOLOGY:

-The Aether/Ariel AG features a continuous, suspended panel of lightweight mesh extending from the upper torso through the lumbar area of the pack and wraps the user in supreme comfort.

CONVERTIBLE TOP-LID DAYPACK:

-Haul your gear to basecamp, remove the top-lid and deploy the impressively functional DayLid to summit a nearby peak or backcountry picnic.

Very convenient, spacious and well-thought backpack. Really like the side pockets design. Overall build quality is also very good. Used the backpack to carry about 15 kg of gear for my 4-5 days hiking trips, all went very well. Hipbelt really works, and, if fitted properly, transfers the weight from shoulders and back to your hips.

Really a super-superfine backpack! We are walking the GR5 (in the Vosges) with a full load. I was looking for a new backpack that fits well, possibly also with handy compartments. I initially doubted the weight, have tried other lightweight backpacks, but this is absolutely the very best. I am training with it now and it fits like a good shoe in which you can immediately walk long distances without blisters! Recommended.
