The Alptrek 65 is a large, comfortable trekking pack made of lightweight, very abrasion-resistant nylon with a fully-adjustable carrying system and a high 65-litre capacity designed for thru-hiking and longer expeditions, such as the Alta Via routes of the Dolomites. The height-adjustable lid makes it possible to add ten litres of volume and can be removed to use as a separate carry bag. Our easy-adjust Dry Back Custom carrying system has an adjustable back length plus anatomically-shaped, padded shoulder straps and hipbelt for an individualised fit. In addition, load lifter straps ensure optimal back fit over long distances, while the pre-shaped hipfin guarantees a snug fit and good load transfer to your hips. For rapid access to important items en route, the on-the-go pockets are easy to reach without having to remove the pack from your back. Large storage pockets provide plenty of room for spare clothing or your tent poles and there’s dual – front and top – access to the main compartment for fast and easy access to all your kit. With a hydration system exit, ice-pick/ trekking pole attachment, rope fastener, load control and side compression straps and sleep mat attachment straps. This pack is also compatible with the Salewa flask holder and there is an additional, detachable front pack for day trips. With an additional raincover. Very ergonomic, it means that the load does not suffer as much. Very resistant fabric. Product with quality and price. The sleeping part is a little small and only fits with a compression bag. Other than that, it is an excellent backpack.

In my case I bought the blue one, I like the materials, of good quality, good distribution of the compartments and good design in general. Very good capacity too and also a good fit if not required to use full capacity. The front bag is detachable (good detail) only that its fastening to the main bag is a bit flimsy, you just have to be careful not to overload it. The shoulder straps seem a bit thin to me, but the quality is good and you also have to remember that the backpack is carried by the belt and not by the shoulders. In general, an excellent backpack of capacity, quality and design for walks of a couple of days or more in the mountains. Note: the backpack is closer to 2 kg (1999 gr according to my scale)
