Akami Asago spinning rod

Experience the pinnacle of shore-based spinning with the AKAMI Asago spinning rod, a masterpiece of design and technology engineered for the discerning angler. Crafted for those who demand precision, power, and unparalleled sensitivity, the Asago is your ultimate tool for mastering the art of lure fishing from the coast. Whether you are targeting elusive seabass in the surf, powerful bluefish from the rocks, or cunning dentex in clear waters, this rod provides the performance and confidence needed to turn a good day of fishing into an unforgettable one.

The foundation of the Asago´s exceptional performance lies in its advanced blank construction. The rod is made of 35T Toray carbon with 6 fibers laid at 45 degrees, which gives you an extra flexibility, ideal for the action of the lance. This innovative arrangement allows the rod to load and unload with explosive energy, resulting in significantly longer and more accurate casts, allowing you to reach distant feeding zones with ease.

It also incorporates a resin with nano-particles that impregnates the tissue of the carbon fiber, achieving a lighter, thin and resistant structure, capable of transmitting unique sensations in fishing action. This technology enhances feedback to a level where you can feel the most subtle lure movements and the faintest of takes. You become one with your lure, interpreting every vibration and bump, giving you the critical advantage to set the hook at the perfect moment.

With this new system, we will obtain accurate lances, getting an ideal movement in the lure, which at the same time will allow us to fight against a large fish with total solvency. The Asago is a symphony of power and finesse; it has the backbone to subdue hard-fighting predators and stop powerful runs, yet retains the delicacy to impart lifelike action to your favorite minnows, jigs, and soft plastics.

Comfort and control are paramount during long fishing sessions, which is why the Asago features a new Easy-grip ergonomic handle. Designed to fix the hand completely and safely, it prevents slips or undesired turns during the cast. This secure connection to the rod translates into better casting mechanics, reduced fatigue, and absolute control when battling a trophy fish. Furthermore, a new segment alignment system which gives it maximum safety and easy alignment ensures that you can assemble the rod perfectly every time, for optimal performance and peace of mind.

To complete this high-performance package, the rod is equipped with Fuji KR Fazlite rings and a Fuji reel seat. The KR Concept guide train minimizes line slap and friction, promoting tangle-free, long-distance casting with both braided and monofilament lines. The Fazlite rings offer outstanding durability and smoothness, standing up to the harsh saltwater environment. For protection and transport, the rod includes an Akami Premium rod sleeve, ensuring your investment remains in pristine condition. The AKAMI Asago is more than just a fishing rod; it is an extension of the angler´s will, built to conquer the coast
