DAIWA Prorex Floating Beads | High-Buoyancy Rig & Lure Accessories

Elevate your bait presentation and unlock new tactical possibilities with the DAIWA Prorex Floating Beads. As a crucial component in the small parts category of fishing equipment, these high-performance beads are meticulously designed for the modern predator angler who demands precision, versatility, and uncompromising quality. Developed under the renowned Prorex banner, which is synonymous with targeting species like pike, zander, and perch, these beads provide a critical edge in a wide variety of fishing scenarios.

The primary benefit of the DAIWA Prorex Floating Beads lies in their exceptional buoyancy. This key feature allows anglers to fundamentally alter their rig´s behaviour in the water column. By adding one or more beads to your leader, you can effortlessly lift your soft plastic lure, deadbait, or live bait off the bottom. This is especially effective when fishing over weed beds, rocky terrain, or soft silt, preventing your hook from snagging and ensuring your bait remains visible and attractive to passing predators. This elevated presentation mimics a vulnerable or suspended baitfish, creating a more natural and enticing target that wary fish find difficult to resist.

Key Features and Applications:

Engineered for maximum performance, these floating beads are staple accessories for any serious angler´s tackle box. Their robust design ensures they can withstand the rigours of predator fishing, while their smooth, precision-drilled central hole allows for frictionless movement on your line, protecting your leader from abrasion and ensuring optimal rig mechanics.

These floating beads are staple accessories for surface fishing or for lifting baits off the bottom and into the current. The added buoyancy is perfect for creating slow-sinking or neutrally buoyant presentations with Texas and Carolina rigs, or for adding a visual, floating element to float fishing setups. Available in three highly visible colours: white, fluo red and fluo yellow, these Beads are designed to act as a powerful visual attractant. The vibrant fluorescent hues catch the light and create a ´hot spot´ of colour near your bait, triggering the predatory instincts of fish and drawing strikes even in murky or low-light conditions.
