Daiwa Prorex XR baitcasting rod

New range of Prorex XR baitcasting rods benefitting from the latest Daiwa technologies. The exceptional blanks are made using top quality HVF carbon using Nanoplus technology and rolled using our x45 system where weaves are laid at cross angles. The result is incredibly tactile and responsive rods that pick up the slightest knock or stone on the bottom. Daiwa V-Joint technology optimises the flex of the blank and adds strength. Fuji Fazlite guides and a Daiwa Air Sensor reel seat complete the lightweight componentry. The neat Daiwa ring keeper lets you move spot easily. Top class rods for targeting your favourite species be it black bass, zander, perch or pike.

Technology:

Daiwa-exclusive reel seats:
- Daiwa’s engineering department has developed Daiwa-exclusive reel seats which fuse innovation with Fuji® elements exclusive to Daiwa rods. Some models feature ultra-high modulus Zaion carbon.

Hvf:
- A reduction in the quantity of resin used and increased carbon fibre adhesion during the hotpolymerising phase.

X45:
- This manufacturing process involves layering spiral carbon fibres (90°), unidirectional fibres (0°) over three layers and two layers of carbon as helicoidal opposites (45°) across 2 layers. The wrapping loafy Xer4s5. True elasticity a return to the original shape of the blank irrespective of the angle of load.

Nanoplus:
- Daiwa uses Toray nanotechnology and optimises it with our own fabrication processes to fine tune our resins down to the nanometre. Nano-binding of resins optimises the adhering process of Daiwa’s best carbons to create ultra-high density blanks that are lighter, stronger and more sensitive.
