Illuminate your marine space with the perfect fusion of strength, style, and advanced solar technology with the DOCK EDGE Solar Cleat 8” Dock Lights. This innovative product is engineered to enhance the safety and functionality of your dock, pier, or wharf by seamlessly integrating a powerful mooring point with a brilliant, self-sufficient lighting system. It is designed to be both attractive and functional with solar charging performance and mooring strength, providing a comprehensive solution for any waterfront property. Eliminate the hazards of a dark dock and the hassle of electrical wiring with this all-in-one, eco-friendly lighting and mooring cleat.

Crafted for exceptional durability, the foundation of this unit is a robust cast aluminum alloy chassis. This heavy-duty construction ensures it can handle the demanding conditions of a marine environment, from constant exposure to the elements to the significant forces of securing a vessel. The design incorporates a wide sturdy base footprint, which provides superior stability and distributes load pressure effectively, guaranteeing a secure and reliable mooring point for your boat season after season.

When the sun goes down, the DOCK EDGE Solar Cleat transforms into a beacon of safety. Integrated within its sleek design are 5 Super bright white LEDs that provide powerful side and base illumination. This strategic placement lights up the cleat itself and the surrounding dock surface, making nighttime docking and walking significantly safer. The bright, clear light helps define the dock´s edge and prevents trips and falls. The LEDs are protected by high-impact polycarbonate side lenses, ensuring they remain shielded from bumps and scrapes.

Engineered for complete autonomy, this solar cleat features an advanced photovoltaic panel that efficiently charges a rechargeable replaceable AAA (Ni-MH) battery during the day. An intelligent light sensor enables the automatic on-at-dusk function, meaning the light will switch on by itself as darkness falls and turn off at dawn, requiring zero manual intervention. From a single full charge, it delivers up to 12 hours of continuous illumination, ensuring your dock is lit from dusk until dawn. This effortless operation provides reliable performance without any electricity costs or complex installation.

Built to withstand the rigors of life on the water, the entire unit is certified waterproof to standard IP65. This high level of protection ensures that rain, splashes, and spray will not compromise the internal electronics, guaranteeing long-lasting performance in any weather.

Lights

The powerful lighting system is designed for maximum visibility and safety. The 5 super-bright LEDs generate a crisp white light that is easily seen from a distance, serving as an excellent navigational marker for approaching your dock at night. With an impressive viewing distance of up to 325 feet , you and other boaters can clearly identify the dock´s location, ensuring safer approaches and maneuvering in low-light conditions.
