DTD Red Killer Bukva 1.5 | High-Visibility Luminous Squid Jig

Category: Lures
Subcategory: Eging

Elevate your eging game and master the art of squid fishing with the revolutionary DTD Red Killer Bukva 1.5. Expertly engineered for catching squid from a boat, this lure is a game-changer in high-visibility and attraction. Building on the success of the renowned White Killer series, the Red Killer introduces a vibrant, bright red body designed to provoke aggressive strikes from cephalopods in a wide range of conditions. It is meticulously crafted to be the ultimate weapon in your squid fishing arsenal, combining visual appeal with lifelike action.

The DTD Red Killer Bukva is a masterpiece of innovation, designed to be exceptionally visible day or night. For daytime fishing, its design leverages the power of sunlight. A specially designed UV active foil is placed on the top of the lure, catching and reflecting ultraviolet rays to create a powerful, shimmering beacon that squid can spot from a distance, even in bright, sunny conditions. This is complemented by the lure´s inherent transparent contrast effect, which gives it a more natural and enticing silhouette in the water column.

When the sun goes down or you´re fishing in deeper, darker waters, the Red Killer truly comes alive. The entire body is infused with a powerful red luminous glow, creating a persistent and unmissable target. This is further enhanced by a special side label that emits a strong blue glow. Due to its specific wavelength, blue light penetrates deeper and is highly visible in marine environments, ensuring the lure stands out in the darkest depths. This dual-glow system—a red body and blue accent—creates a unique visual signature that is simply irresistible to curious and predatory squid.

The realism of the Red Killer Bukva is second to none. It features DTD´s signature active silicone fins, which are designed to flutter and vibrate subtly during the descent and retrieve. This movement perfectly mimics the micro-movements of distressed prey, triggering the natural hunting instincts of squid and encouraging a confident attack. The lure´s performance is matched by its durability, equipped with ultra-sharp stainless steel crowns for a secure hookset and a high-quality stainless steel swivel to prevent line twists, ensuring a smooth and effective presentation every time.
