Groco Lube Valve

GROCO Lube Valve | Effortless In-Water Seacock Maintenance

Ensure the reliability and longevity of your vessel´s critical systems with the innovative GROCO Lube Valve. This essential accessory is the definitive solution for one of the most common and frustrating problems faced by boat owners: seized or stiff seacocks.

Ball valves, such as in-line valves or flanged seacocks, that are "exercised" frequently operate more easily and are likely to remain free of marine growth. However, the task of regularly opening and closing these crucial valves is often neglected. This happens because valves can be difficult to reach, or because boat owners simply don´t have the time or inclination. Consequently, valves are often left in one position for months or even seasons. When the time finally comes to operate the valve, the build-up of barnacles and calcium can make it extremely difficult or even impossible to move.

The GROCO Lube Valve directly tackles this issue, transforming a difficult chore into a simple, routine task. By allowing you to lubricate your seacocks while the boat is still in the water, it eliminates the need for a costly and time-consuming haul-out for basic valve maintenance.

Key Benefits:

* Extend Seacock Lifespan: Regular lubrication minimizes friction and wear, preventing premature failure and protecting your investment. By keeping internal components moving freely, you significantly extend the operational life of your expensive seacocks.
* Save Time and Money: Avoid the significant expense and downtime associated with hauling your boat out of the water just to service a sticky valve. The Lube Valve allows for quick, in-water maintenance, saving you hundreds or even thousands of dollars in yard fees and labor.
* Restore Smooth Operation: Effortlessly free up frozen or difficult-to-operate valves. A simple application through the Lube Valve can restore the smooth, easy action your seacocks had when they were new, ensuring they can be operated quickly and easily, especially in an emergency.
* Enhance Onboard Safety: A seized seacock is more than an inconvenience; it´s a serious safety hazard. Ensuring your through-hull valves are fully operational is critical for the safety of your vessel and everyone on board. The GROCO Lube Valve provides peace of mind that your systems will work when you need them most.

Main Features:
