Mikado Flat Pear carpfishing lead

MIKADO Flat Pear Carpfishing Lead (99g) | Ultimate Stability for Perfect Rig Presentation

Discover the pinnacle of stability and rig security with the MIKADO Flat Pear Carpfishing Lead. A timeless classic in any dedicated carp angler´s tackle box, this lead is meticulously engineered to provide an unwavering anchor for your end tackle in a vast array of fishing situations. Its superior design addresses the common challenges of fishing on uneven bottoms, in light currents, or on soft, silty lakebeds, ensuring your presentation remains flawless and effective.

The core strength of this lead lies in its iconic design. A classic Flat Pear carp lead, its flattened shape is its greatest asset, providing exceptional grip on the bottom. This low-profile design creates a larger surface area that makes contact with the lakebed, significantly increasing stability and preventing the lead from rolling down marginal slopes or gravel bars. Furthermore, this intelligent shape prevents it from sinking deep into the mud or soft sediment, keeping your rig perfectly presented and free from debris. This ensures your hookbait is always visible and accessible to feeding carp.

Its versatile shape is a testament to its brilliant engineering, allowing for highly effective use both when casting from the bank and when strategically placing baits from a boat. The compact and aerodynamic nature of the pear design ensures stable and accurate flight during the cast, making it an excellent choice for medium to long-range work. For boat anglers, its stability upon impact and its ability to be lowered with precision make it an indispensable tool for dropping rigs onto exact spots with minimal disturbance. Whether you are targeting a small clearing in the weed or a firm spot on a silty expanse, the MIKADO Flat Pear delivers consistent and reliable performance every time.

Finished with a durable, non-reflective, and discreet coating, this lead is designed for the stealth-conscious angler. The muted, natural tone allows it to blend seamlessly into its underwater surroundings, from dark silt to gravel and clay. This camouflage minimizes visibility and reduces the risk of spooking wary, pressured carp that are cautiously inspecting your baited area, giving you a critical edge. Built for the rigours of modern carpfishing, this lead is a fundamental component for building effective and trustworthy rigs that will help you put more fish on the bank.
