The foldable shank, which is easily disengaged by unscrewing a single bolt, is a game-changing feature for boats with limited bow space or crowded anchor lockers. This functionality enables compact and hassle-free stowage, a practical convenience rarely found in anchors of this performance class. The heavily weighted tip works in perfect synergy with the very wide plow, ensuring the anchor is always oriented for a perfect, rapid bite into the seabed. This design effectively eliminates the frustrating tendency of some anchors to drag or skip across the bottom, especially in challenging conditions like soft sand and sludge, where the Kobra II has consistently proven its superiority in numerous international tests.
