Plastimo Mast South Easy Navigation LED Light

Navigate with confidence and exceptional energy efficiency using the PLASTIMO Mast South Easy Navigation LED Light. Designed specifically for the demanding marine environment, this essential piece of electronic equipment from the Lighting subcategory ensures your vessel remains visible, safe, and compliant on the water. It is the perfect blend of robust engineering and modern technology, built to give sailors and powerboaters peace of mind during nighttime or low-visibility navigation.

The standout benefit of this navigation light is its commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. It is fully certified and approved according to IMO/Colreg 72 standards, guaranteeing that it meets the stringent international requirements for preventing collisions at sea. This certification is not just a feature; it´s your assurance of quality, reliability, and legal compliance, allowing you to sail in both local and international waters without concern. Its bright and clear light output ensures maximum visibility to other vessels, significantly enhancing the safety of everyone on board.

Another major advantage is the incredible energy efficiency offered by the included monofilament LED. The package thoughtfully provides two bulb options: a traditional incandescent festoon and a state-of-the-art LED. While the incandescent bulb is available, the LED is the star, consuming an astonishingly low 0.1 A of power. This represents a 90% reduction in energy draw compared to the 1 A consumption of the incandescent bulb. For any boater, preserving battery power is critical. This dramatic energy saving means longer battery life, more power available for other essential onboard electronics, and less reliance on engine charging, making it ideal for long voyages, anchoring, or racing.

Durability is at the core of its design. The PLASTIMO Mast South Easy Navigation LED Light is built to withstand the relentless punishment of sun, salt, and sea. Its lens is crafted from a high-impact, UV-stabilized polycarbonate, which resists yellowing and embrittlement over time while protecting the internal components from physical damage. Furthermore, the unit boasts an impressive IPX6 waterproof rating. This means it is completely protected against powerful jets of water from any direction, ensuring it will function flawlessly through heavy rain, spray, and even deck washdowns.
