RAGOT Overwrap Catfish Mat - Ultimate Protection for Trophy Fish

Ensure the highest standard of care for your prized catches with the RAGOT Overwrap Catfish Mat. Specifically engineered for the dedicated catfish angler, this essential piece of equipment prioritizes the safety and well-being of the fish above all else. Moving beyond a simple mat, this product serves as a complete fish care station, providing a safe, clean, and stable environment for handling large, powerful specimens. It is one of the most critical fish protectors an ethical angler can own, reflecting a deep respect for the quarry and ensuring these magnificent creatures are returned unharmed.

Unparalleled Fish Safety and Durability

This mat is purposely designed as a dedicated Catfish mat to protect your fish before weighing and when taking a picture. Its generous dimensions offer ample space for even the largest European catfish, preventing direct contact with hard or abrasive ground that could cause injury or remove the fish´s protective slime coat. The construction focuses on longevity and performance in rugged bankside conditions. Made from a robust, rot-proof and washable fabric, it is built to withstand the damp, muddy environments synonymous with fishing. This specialised material is also highly resistant to damage from the ground, such as sharp stones or twigs, guaranteeing a reliable and long-lasting service life.

For ultimate stability, the mat features secure pegging points in each corner. This allows you to keep it firmly fixed in position, preventing it from shifting or blowing away in the wind, which is crucial when handling a powerful, thrashing fish. For optimal fish welfare, always remember to add water on your mat before placing a Catfish on it. This simple but vital step helps keep the fish moist and further protects its delicate skin.

As a key component of your Bivvy setup, this mat ensures that every part of your session, from the bite to the safe release, is managed with professional care and responsibility.
