Rapala Countdown® Squid Elite squid jig 95 mm

Dominate the Water Column with the RAPALA Countdown® Squid Elite 95 mm Eging Lure

Elevate your eging experience with the RAPALA Countdown® Squid Elite 95 mm, a masterfully engineered lure designed for anglers who demand precision, control, and unparalleled performance. This exceptional squid jig is built upon the legendary Countdown® method, giving you the power to systematically target squid and cuttlefish at any specific depth. Whether you are casting from shore or dropping from a boat, the Countdown® Squid Elite provides the ultimate advantage in your pursuit of cephalopods.

The core benefit of this lure lies in its meticulously calibrated, slow-sinking action. It descends at a consistent and predictable rate, allowing you to count it down to the exact depth where squid are holding. This method removes the guesswork, enabling you to present your jig precisely in the strike zone, time after time. Once you have located the productive depth, you can replicate your cast and presentation with unmatched accuracy, a feature that sets this lure apart from other squid jigs.

On the retrieve, the Countdown® Squid Elite 95 mm comes alive with an incredibly responsive and dynamic action. With sharp twitches of the rod tip, it performs an erratic, darting dance that perfectly mimics a fleeing prawn or baitfish, triggering aggressive strikes from nearby predators. During pauses, the lure exhibits a broad, enticing gliding motion as it sinks, maximizing its time in the strike zone and attracting attention with its subtle, natural movement. This combination of sharp darts and a stable glide makes it irresistibly appealing to even the most cautious squid.

Engineered for superior casting distance and accuracy, the lure features a tail-weighted design. This ensures long, stable flights even in windy conditions, allowing you to cover more water and reach distant holding spots. Visually, the Countdown® Squid Elite is a masterpiece, available in a range of stunning patterns that incorporate luminous and advanced UV finishes. This enhanced visibility is crucial for attracting squid in low-light conditions such as dawn and dusk, in deep water, or in murky environments, ensuring your jig stands out and draws strikes.

As a premier offering in the 71-100 mm class of squid jigs, this 95 mm model is perfectly sized for a wide variety of squid species. It is finished with an exceptionally sharp, custom-designed double-crowned hook system that ensures a solid and secure hookset, dramatically increasing your landing rate by minimizing pull-outs during the fight. For the serious eging enthusiast, the RAPALA Countdown® Squid Elite 95 mm is not just a lure; it is a precision instrument for conquering the depths.
