You need to know if the cable you need (employee) is white (equipment connection to the bars), blue (connection between bars) or red (power 12v).

The Raymarine C-series predates this type of cable. You would need either the seatalk 1 (3 pin) to seatalk NG cable or the Raymarine SeaTalk 1 to SeaTalk NG Converter Kit, depending on your installation and where you want to connect it.
