SEASTAR SOLUTIONS Xtreme™ NFB Mechanical Steering System 16

Category: Boats and equipment
Subcategory: Steering

Revolutionize your time on the water with the SEASTAR SOLUTIONS Xtreme™ NFB Mechanical Steering System 16, the new standard for ultimate control and comfort at the helm. This system is engineered for boaters who demand precision, reliability, and an unparalleled driving experience. It is the smoothest and lowest steering effort mechanical helm offered with a quick connect feature on both the steering cable and travel tube, making it the premier choice for upgrading your vessel´s control.

Experience a dramatic reduction in driver fatigue and a significant increase in enjoyment with our patented No FeedBack (NFB) steering mechanism. This advanced technology isolates you from the constant torque of the engine, meaning you no longer have to fight the wheel to maintain your course. The NFB function provides greater safety and comfort, allowing you to relax your grip and even take your hands off the wheel without it spinning, giving you more confidence when navigating tight channels or docking.

At the heart of this system’s superior performance is the XTREME high-efficiency cable, which glides with minimal friction for exceptionally smooth, responsive operation from lock-to-lock. The helm features a reliable Zamak casting and zinc plated steel construction with an improved high-efficiency custom gear train and NFB (No FeedBack) function for smoother operation. This superior helm strength translates directly to a smooth feel and remarkably low effort at the wheel, turning every journey into a pleasure cruise. This comprehensive system provides you with the XTREME™ NFB helm, a stylish new bezel, all necessary hardware, and the corresponding high-performance QC steering cable (SSCX64XX), ensuring you have a complete, factory-matched package for a seamless upgrade.

Application & Installation

This steering system is expertly designed for inboard installations on boats up to 34 feet with a single engine. The installation process is streamlined for convenience, as it installs in the same mounting pattern and bracket location as current Seastar Solutions steering systems. Furthermore, it is designed to fit in the standard Seastar Solutions dash cut out for a standard Safe-T and 4.2 bracket, making it an ideal and straightforward replacement or upgrade for many existing setups.
