Sierra Universal pitot

Achieve unparalleled accuracy and reliability on the water with the SIERRA Universal Pitot, the premier choice for boaters seeking precise speed measurement. Is your boat´s speedometer giving you fluctuating or untrustworthy readings? A faulty, damaged, or clogged pitot tube is often the culprit, compromising your ability to navigate safely, manage fuel consumption, and optimize performance. This universal pitot from SIERRA is engineered to solve these problems, delivering a steady and dependable signal to your speedometer for a confident and controlled boating experience.

Precise speed data is not a luxury; it´s a necessity for modern boating. It allows you to find the most fuel-efficient cruising RPM, maintain consistent and perfect speeds for towing skiers or wakeboarders, and adhere to no-wake or speed-restricted zones with absolute certainty. The SIERRA Universal Pitot is meticulously designed to provide the unwavering accuracy you need. Its advanced hydrodynamic shape cuts through the water cleanly, minimizing drag and turbulence to ensure a consistent and stable pressure reading, which translates directly to a rock-solid needle on your dash display.

Engineered to withstand the harsh marine environment, this robust pitot is built for longevity and peak performance. It features a clog-resistant intake system, specifically designed to prevent weeds, algae, and small debris from obstructing the water flow and causing inaccurate readings. Furthermore, it incorporates a critical kick-up or breakaway feature. This intelligent design allows the pitot to pivot upward upon impact with an underwater obstacle like a log or sandbar, protecting both the unit and your boat´s transom from costly damage. It automatically resets once the obstruction is cleared, ensuring continuous operation.

Designed with maximum compatibility in mind, the SIERRA Universal Pitot is the ideal replacement or upgrade for a vast range of watercraft, including boats with outboard, sterndrive (I/O), and some inboard power systems. Its universal mounting system and compatibility with standard marine speedometer tubing make it a versatile solution for nearly any boat. The straightforward installation process makes it a favorite among professional marine technicians and do-it-yourself boat owners alike, allowing for a quick and easy enhancement to your vessel´s instrumentation.
