SUNSET Thorus SW Trolling Reel: The Apex of Offshore Power and Precision

Embark on your most ambitious blue-water expeditions with the SUNSET Thorus SW Trolling Reel, an engineering masterpiece designed for the serious angler targeting the ocean´s most formidable predators. Built to dominate in the demanding world of saltwater trolling, the Thorus SW provides the unwavering resolve and sophisticated performance needed to turn epic battles into legendary catches. Whether you are pursuing giant tuna, marlin, or other pelagic titans, this reel is your trusted partner in the pursuit of glory.

At the heart of the Thorus SW lies a supremely powerful and minutely adjustable lever drag system. This intuitive design allows for instantaneous, on-the-fly changes in drag pressure with micrometric precision. Go from free-spool to strike, and then to full fighting pressure with smooth, reliable, and consistent performance that protects your line from sudden breaks while applying the necessary force to subdue powerful fish. This flawless drag performance ensures you remain in complete control throughout the most grueling and unpredictable fights, giving you the confidence to challenge your personal best.

Versatility is paramount when offshore, and the Thorus SW delivers with its sophisticated dual-speed gearing system. Effortlessly switch between a high-speed gear ratio, perfect for quickly recovering line and keeping up with fast-moving fish, and a low-speed, high-torque gear for immense cranking power when you need to lift deep-running giants from the depths. This two-in-one functionality allows you to adapt your tactics instantly, making it a formidable tool for a wide range of trolling techniques.

The foundational strength of the Thorus SW is derived from its incredibly rigid, one-piece frame and side-plate construction. This monobloc design eliminates any twisting or flex, even under the extreme load of a heavy drag setting and a powerful fish. By maintaining perfect alignment of all internal components, it guarantees silky-smooth operation and exceptional durability, fight after fight, season after season. The entire reel is engineered for maximum saltwater resilience, featuring multiple stainless steel ball bearings that provide a fluid retrieve and long-lasting protection against corrosion.

Every detail is crafted with the angler in mind. The ergonomic combat handle provides a comfortable and secure grip, delivering maximum leverage to reduce fatigue during extended battles. A loud and clear strike alarm ensures you never miss a take, providing an audible signal the moment a fish commits. Available in a range of sizes (including 30LBS, 50LBS, and 80LBS) and offered in both right-hand and left-hand retrieve models, the SUNSET Thorus SW Trolling Reel series allows every angler to find the perfect weapon for their specific offshore strategy.
