BBB PistonFix Tool

Effortlessly reset your hydraulic brake pistons with the BBB PistonFix, the essential maintenance tool designed to make brake pad replacement simple, safe, and efficient. A must-have for any cyclist´s collection of general tools, the PistonFix transforms a potentially frustrating task into a quick and straightforward procedure. When it´s time to swap out worn-out pads on your hydraulic disc brakes, the pistons often remain extended, making it impossible to fit the new, thicker pads and rotor. This is where the PistonFix becomes your most valuable assistant.

The PistonFix is there to help you. It is a simple tool, but makes the job so much easier when you’ve got it in your toolbox. Forget using clumsy, damaging alternatives like screwdrivers or tire levers that can easily scratch or gouge your delicate brake components, leading to costly repairs. The PistonFix features a specially designed wedge shape, engineered to slide smoothly between the brake pistons. Simply place the wedge between the pistons and gently push them apart. The tool’s robust yet forgiving material ensures it provides the necessary force to reset the pistons fully into the caliper body without leaving a single mark. It won’t scratch your pistons or brake pads. A perfect tool for a little job.

Engineered for precision and user comfort, the BBB PistonFix boasts an ergonomic handle made with a soft and tactile Kraton grip. This provides a firm, comfortable, and non-slip grip, giving you complete control during the process, even if your hands are greasy. This superior handling allows you to apply steady, even pressure, ensuring both pistons retract uniformly for a perfect setup every time. Whether you are a professional mechanic running a busy workshop or a dedicated home enthusiast who takes pride in performing your own maintenance, this tool saves you time, prevents damage, and delivers professional-grade results. It´s the key to ensuring your new brake pads are installed correctly, guaranteeing optimal performance and safety on your next ride.
