Hello, I have the same question as the previous speaker, ISO and JIS are different, both cannot fit. Until you know this, you cannot buy a suitable crank. Kind regards

I matched two bottom brackets to two different cranks purchased "randomly" on Chinese sites without checking the square spindle standard (also because it is almost never declared), and both adapted well. The difference between ISO and JIS in fact I believe is minimal, there is only a small difference (I would say about 1mm on each side) at the point where the interference between the spindle and the crank occurs. In my case it was not important, I mounted them on restored folding bikes and still obtained an excellent chain alignment. It is however essential to make sure of the thread pitch (Italian or English).

Hi, the image shows an ISO type. In theory they are not compatible, but in practice they are. Check out the Sheldon Brown/bbtaper page where the differences and compatibility with their peculiarities are perfectly explained.

It is a square pin bottom bracket, therefore identified with the acronym Jis but also the acronym Iso. Pay attention to the thread, here it is ITALIAN (36mmX24tpi) and is different from the BSA one.
