Braking Magura MT5/MT7 Metallic Carbon Disc Brake Pads

The carbon-metal pads are always made with a semi-metallic compound but with a greater contribution of metal fragments which translates into better resistance to very high temperatures.

The pad has less bite than the organic when cold, but quickly enters temperature, allowing it to have a good braking feeling immediately and low noise if run correctly.

The running-in of these pads must be more rigorous than that of the organics, these pads ´´forgive´´ the bad break-ins but rewarded the rider with better grip.

The durability of the Carbometallic pad is very high and is particularly suitable for extreme use.
