Castelli Fly Direct jacket

CASTELLI Fly Direct Jacket - Women´s Ultralight Thermal Protection

Redefine your expectations for cold-weather cycling gear with the Castelli Fly Direct Jacket for women. Engineered for the serious cyclist who refuses to compromise on performance, this jacket delivers an astonishing level of warmth from an impossibly lightweight and packable design. It’s the ultimate solution for cool-to-cold conditions where breathability and minimal bulk are paramount, allowing you to fly up climbs and power through flats without being weighed down.

At the heart of this revolutionary garment is its state-of-the-art thermal regulation. The jacket utilizes a cutting-edge synthetic Polartec® Alpha® Direct insulation. Unlike traditional insulation that requires a liner fabric, Alpha® Direct is an open-loft structure that sits directly against your base layer. This groundbreaking design provides exceptional warmth and breathability, actively wicking moisture away from your body during intense efforts to keep you dry and comfortable. This active insulation means you get all the thermal benefits you need without overheating, making it perfect for high-tempo training rides.

Protection from the elements is handled by the ultralight, windproof microfiber woven outer shell. This barrier effectively blocks chilling winds, preserving your core temperature on fast descents and blustery days. A durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment adds another layer of defense, causing light rain and road spray to bead up and roll off, ensuring you stay drier in unpredictable weather. This combination of windproof and water-resistant properties creates a versatile shield for a wide range of cycling conditions.

Designed with a women´s-specific fit for optimal comfort and aerodynamics, the Fly Direct Jacket is exceptionally versatile. Its super-lightweight and highly compressible nature means it can be easily stowed in a jersey pocket when temperatures rise, serving as the perfect emergency layer for long days with variable weather. Yet, it possesses enough protection to be your primary jacket for entire rides during the shoulder seasons. Practical, on-bike features include a smooth-gliding, top-and-bottom-opening YKK® Vislon® zipper for customized ventilation on the fly. Three generous rear pockets provide ample storage for nutrition and essentials, while strategically placed reflective elements at the waist and wrists enhance your visibility to others in low-light conditions.

Choose the Castelli Fly Direct Jacket and experience the pinnacle of lightweight, thermal, and protective cycling apparel.
