Unfortunately the end sentence in this product description got by both my wife and myself as we made the selection for her new hybrid bike ... 'Designed specifically for road bike use'!!! I was then immediately alerted by the second paragraph in the installation instruction sheet ... 'This model comes with a sensor inspired by modern road bikes. It may not be used for bikes with a large space between the front fork and spoke' ... which is exactly the issue that foiled the 'Slim' installation!! Be warned by our lack of observation! But that said we have used CAT EYE on our 32yr old mountain bikes and 2 sets of other bikes while we've been campervanning and boating overseas and can absolutely confirm the incredible brand reliability ... the 6 sets of Cat Eyes have never missed a beat on the 100K+ kilometres that our bike fleet have taken us!! he first dtstementcOf course the distance between the fork and spokes foiled installation so she is having ,tonher 'slim'

Like so many of us who leave comments, we talk about the fair as it has gone and Cateye has been a reliable and tough brand since I started cycling 40 years ago. I bought this model for my daughter and installing it is very easy. In the configuration at first it overwhelms a bit so many indications, but as soon as you start, they are all very intuitive. I have read some comments about how it could be easier to unpin the support. They have a solution in one of their first models in which a small tab that when lowered, the device slides smoothly.

I've had Cateye ready-to-wear for decades. None had defects. They always worked perfectly. I bought this product because I want a cordless cycle computer. I researched about it and several others needed charging at least once a week. Cateye products don't need this and the battery lasts for years. I definitely recommend purchasing Cateye products for their reliability, ease of use, battery life, robustness, display quality and minimalism. Congratulations to Cateye for maintaining its product catalog at the highest level of quality.

The support you brought is applied to the handlebar or stem with an elastic band type "o´ring" and two small non-slip surfaces. You can secure with a small tie for the occasional cut of the elastic band while you are rolling.
