Great product. I have been using a Cateye cycle computer for over 30 years. My last one, also a Velo 7, broke down after many years and I had to buy a new one.. I paid tax to enter Brazil but it was still worth it.. I recommend it.

I have bought many of these and all my current 4 bikes have this same Cateye Velo cycling computer. It is the best in the market: reliable, simple to use and durable. I have had some other brands in couple of my bikes sometimes and none of them were as good as Cateye Velo.

I've tried several "cheap" bicycle speedometers and was more or less disappointed each time. Since I park the bike in public, an expensive product is not possible and not necessary for my needs. Actually all I need is a watch and the speedometer. I've actually never needed all the bells and whistles. Very nice: the display has a good viewing angle, so you can read the numbers really well both while sitting and standing up. Unfortunately the speedometer has no light, but I already knew that. The Velo 7 looks very solidly built and will hopefully last a long time. The cable is a little too short so I couldn't wrap it around the brake cable, but running it parallel with insulating tape worked well.

Well, the good thing about this device is that it´s like the mechanism of a pacifier, it´s so simple. if it changes your function AND IT IS NOT THE BATTERY, it is broken. Change the battery for a year if you give it tute is a long time.
