CONTEC Austral Gravel Handlebar: Ultimate Control for All-Road Adventures

Embark on your next journey with the confidence and comfort provided by the CONTEC Austral Gravel Handlebar. Designed specifically for the modern adventurer who demands performance on every surface, from smooth asphalt to challenging gravel tracks, this handlebar is your key to unlocking superior control and endurance. It is the perfect upgrade for any gravel, bikepacking, or all-road cycling enthusiast looking for a blend of performance, durability, and ergonomic design.

Experience a new level of stability and confidence-inspiring handling, especially on technical descents and uneven terrain. The defining feature of the Austral is its 12° flare, which angles the drops outward. This wider stance provides significantly more control and wrist clearance when you´re in an aggressive riding position, allowing you to navigate rough sections with precision.

Crafted from high-grade Aluminum 6061, the CONTEC Austral strikes an exceptional balance between strength, low weight, and stiffness. This robust material ensures the handlebar can withstand the rigors of off-road excursions while providing a responsive and direct feel, translating your every input into precise steering. The sandblasted black finish not only looks sleek and modern but also provides a durable, non-slip surface that stands up to the elements.

The thoughtful ergonomics, featuring a 130mm drop and a 75mm reach, create a compact and accessible riding position. This geometry makes it easy to transition between the tops, hoods, and drops, reducing fatigue on long-distance rides and ensuring you can always find a comfortable hand position. As a Non-integrated handlebar, the Austral offers you ultimate freedom and compatibility. It works with standard 31.8mm stems, allowing you to fine-tune your cockpit setup with your preferred components for a truly personalized fit.

Whether you´re building a new gravel bike from the ground up or upgrading your current all-road machine, the CONTEC Austral handlebar provides the performance, reliability, and control you need to push your limits. Elevate your Road Cycling experience and explore without boundaries.
